Next summer's tournament is attracting teams from all over Finland. The football craze brought on by the World Cup is shared at the Helsinki Cup by, among others,  JIPPO (Joensuu), KuPS and Kings (Kuopio), Pallo-Iirot (Rauma), MIFK (Maarianhamina), MP (Mikkeli), OLS and OPS-j (Oulu), STPS (Savonlinna), FC Kuusysi and Reipas (Lahti), Ilves (Tampere), WJK (Varkaus), EIF (Tammisaari) and TuWe (Turku). Other towns represented include: Muurame, Hämeenlinna, Piikkiö, Eurajoki, Haukipudas, Kouvola, Lapua, Loviisa, Siilinjärvi, Forssa, Karkkila, Hyvinkää, Riihimäki, Lieto, Kaarina ja Valkeala - not to even mention the many teams from the capital city area. Almost 700 teams have already signed up!

Helsinki Cup launched its Tolerance programme last year with a view to promote equality through football. Next summer's equality is promoted through, among others, a special international tournament that is played alongside the Helsinki Cup. In addition to teams from Finland, Sweden, England, Belgium, Switzerland and Ireland are all represented.
